Nada Abul-Naga wins the Women’s Open Saudi Squash Championship

Nada Abul-Naga a Saudi female player won the Kingdom’s Women’s Open Squash Championship.

The Saudi Squash Federation arranged this competition, which took place in the Riyadh Club’s stadiums from August 19 to 21.

Nada won the championship cup, the gold medal, and an in-kind gift, while the player Al-Jawhara Al-Sudairi ranked second, and received the silver medal and an in-kind gift.

Atheer Al-Rayes came in third place, receiving the bronze medal and an in-kind gift, and Arwa Hakami ranked fourth, receiving a kind gift.

 Saudi Squash Federation tweeted a celebration for player Nada, stressing her crowning the championship cup and the gold medal.

 She registered her name as the first Saudi professional squash player, after she succeeded in joining the International Federation of Professional Players (PSA), and entering the list of the top 100 players in the world.

Abul-Naga started playing sports in 2008, moving between 5 different sports, before moving to squash.

The player was officially professionalized in 2010 and participated in major tournaments.
