May 11: Visa Exemption for Visit Travel Between Saudi Arabia, Russia Comes into Effect

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the mutual visa exemption agreement for visit travel between Saudi Arabia and the Russian Federation will come into force starting May 11, 2026.

The ministry explained that the agreement allows citizens of both countries to enter without a visa, with the possibility of staying for up to 90 days, whether continuously or in separate periods within a calendar year.
It also clarified that the exemption covers purposes such as tourism, business visits, and visiting relatives and friends. It does not include visas for work, study, residency, or Hajj, which require obtaining specific visas.
