Makkah governor to attend the closing ceremony of Crown Prince Camel Festival

His Royal Highness Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Governor of Makkah Region, will attend the closing ceremony of the third edition of the Crown Prince Camel Festival tomorrow on behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense.

The Saudi Camel Federation hosts the Al-Ahed Camel race, which will be held in the Taif governorate.

His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports, President of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee, and President of the International Camel Federation expressed his gratitude and appreciation to His Royal Highness Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Governor of Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, on this occasion.

The festival’s final stage saw the construction of 204 runs, including 20 for symbols, and the festival awarded money awards worth a total of 53 million riyals, which are among the biggest in sports races. Hundreds of the most well-known owners of local, Arab, and international camels competed, with the festival awarding a million riyals in prize money. For the Crown Prince’s Sword, which will be won by the owner of the camel with the highest points in the festival’s general rounds – may God protect him.

His Highness the Crown Prince gives the camel sector and its growth a lot of love and care, as part of an ambitious vision that keeps up with the Kingdom’s position and people’s ambitions, and accomplishes the aims of camel owners and lovers in all parts of the Kingdom and the Arab world.
