KSrelief Distributes 6,500 Food Baskets in Khan Yunis, Gaza

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) continues distributing its relief aid to the affected Palestinians in Gaza. This is part of the Saudi popular campaign to help the Palestinian people, reported Saudi Press Agency. Yesterday, 6,500 food baskets were distributed in the town of Abasan Al Kabira, east of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, benefiting 35,000 individuals.

Food aid was also distributed to the displaced in Nuseirat in the central Gaza Strip, benefiting more than 10,000 individuals. The Kingdom aims to meet the necessary needs and alleviating the suffering of the population in the Strip. This aid comes within the framework of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s historic and well-known role in standing with the Palestinian people in the various crises.

The Center launched the “Messages of Hope” campaign, reported Saudi Press Agency. The campaign aims to spread the spirit of hope to the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, through social media and the participation of community members. As part of this campaign, the Center organized a food baskets preparation event in its warehouses in Riyadh two weeks ago. A number of the center’s employees, volunteers, community members, media figures, and social media influencers participated in the event.

They prepared food baskets that include food ingredients that meet the needs of Palestinian families. They also included “messages of hope” written by the Kingdom’s children expressing their solidarity with the children of Gaza. As part of the campaign, children write letters full of hope to the people of the Gaza Strip.
