KSA Ambassador Affirms Nation’s Firm Stance on Palestinian Issue
The Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Palestine, Nayef Al-Sudairi, confirmed today that KSA will not accept any pressure regarding its firm stance toward the Palestinian Issue.
According to the Palestinian News Agency (Wafa), Al-Sudairi explained that the Kingdom is aware of Palestinians endless suffering. He pointed out that the Kingdom strongly rejects the forcible displacement of the Palestinians in general, and Gaza in particular.
Palestinian Issue
Earlier in 2023, the Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, clarified his country’s position on the Palestinian Issue. In addition, he stressed the continuation of efforts to stand by the Palestinians to achieve their legitimate rights to a dignified life.
KSA Gaza Relations
Ambassador Al-Sudairi added; “The relations linking KSA with Gaza are based on permanent support for Palestine. He asserted the Kingdom’s firm stance towards the Palestinian Issue.
Furthermore, the Kingdom’s main goal behind holding the emergency Arab-Islamic Summit was to support Palestinians.
Under the chairmanship of Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, and other active countries, the committee under the State of Palestine leadership was formed. Conversely, the ambassador explained his country’s continuous support for the Palestinians and full belief in the Palestinian cause.
Saudi Arabia Aid to Palestine
The Saudi Kingdom is considered as one of the largest countries supporting Palestine in general, and the Gaza Strip during the ongoing crisis.
It is worthy to mention that the Sahim platform affiliated with the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid collected more than 650 million riyals for Palestine.
In his response to Israel’s insistence on deducting the clearance funds, Al-Sudairi described what was happening as “an illegal act, and unacceptable”.
Furthermore, he affirmed the KSA full support for the Palestinian stance on this matter, and the Arab full commitment to providing aid to Palestine.
