King Salman receives a written message from the President of South Sudan

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz received a written message from the President of the Republic of South Sudan, Lieutenant-General Salva Kiir Mayardit, regarding bilateral relations and ways to support and develop them in all fields.

The message was received by Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, when he received it at the ministry’s office (Monday) the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of South Sudan, Mik Aye Deng.

At the beginning of the reception, the Minister of Foreign Affairs valued the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Sudan for his country’s support for the Kingdom’s request to host the Expo 2030 in Riyadh under the slogan “The era of change: moving our planet towards the future.”

During the reception, the signing of the framework agreement between the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of South Sudan, which aims to develop bilateral relations between the two countries, in addition to discussing ways to strengthen and develop joint relations in various fields, in addition to exchanging views on regional and international issues of common interest.

The reception was attended by the Assistant Minister of State for African Affairs, Ambassador Dr. Sami Al-Saleh.
