King Salman received on Monday a written message from Sheikh Tamim Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, regarding the firm bilateral relations that bind the two brotherly countries and peoples, and ways to support and enhance them in various fields and at all levels.
The message was received by Deputy Foreign Minister Engineer Walid Al-Khereiji, during his reception at the Ministry’s office, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom, Bandar Al-Attiyah.
During the reception, they discussed bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to enhance them in various fields, in addition to exchanging views on issues of common concern.
Relations between the two countries have been strained before, but the end of the Gulf crisis has been declared after Qatar appointed its ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia helped Qatar organize the World Cup, and it also extended an air bridge between the two countries and hosted the World Cup fans.
