Jordan has taken part in the Arab International Commission for the Reconstruction of Palestine Forum in Istanbul, according to Arab News.
Themed “From the Rubble We Build Hope,” the forum focused on the regional and international efforts to support the reconstruction of Gaza that has been destroyed since the beginning of the war in October 2023.
Importantly, the event highlighted the participation of the Jordanian Contractors Association (JCA) under the patronage of the Higher Committee for Reconstruction in Palestine, represented by its President Fouad Duwairi and Vice President Marouf Ghananim.
During the forum, the committee’s president highlighted the association’s efforts to boost reconstruction efforts in Palestine and Gaza. Duwairi also reviewed the donations of Jordanian contractors in recent months.
In this context, Duwairi emphasized the JCA’s dedication to helping the Palestinian people, mentioning that Jordanian contractors have significantly contributed to the reconstruction efforts through donations of machinery and construction equipment.
The association has also taken part in various international conferences to determine the new innovative methods to reuse the construction materials in Gaza’s rebuilding.
After reviewing the Jordanian plans, the Arab International Authority for the Reconstruction of Palestine has commended the pivotal efforts of Duwairi and the JCA in supporting reconstruction initiatives.
