Saudi Arabia is developing a new gateway to the world at the heart of its southwest corner, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Jazan.

Spanning over 48 million square meters, the airport will host 3.6 million passengers annually, connecting Jazan to global destinations.
The airport will represent a qualitative leap for Jazan’s tourism and economic potential, with authorities revealing that the completion rate has surpassed 77%.
Seamless Travel Experience
Located along the Red Sea roughly 700 km south of Jeddah, the New Jazan Airport adopts a cutting-edge style balancing elegance with functionality.
It promises travelers a seamless and smooth experience, with arrivals efficiently handled on the ground floor and departures on the first floor.
The project will also feature a dedicated mezzanine level with passengers arriving via contract or stand-type aircraft.
Architectural Harmony
As for the terminal’s architecture, it includes a central structure composed of reinforced concrete vaults, serving as a connective device between the two main lobbies. Moreover, the terminal connects to the express check-in and departures area on one side, while on the opposite side, it seamlessly leads to the boarding gates.
To ensure efficiency and high standard of service, the terminal layout dedicates special attention to the flow of passengers and goods, as well as mindful zoning of public spaces, retail areas, and food & beverage facilities.
