
A delegation from the Jazan Chamber, led by Secretary-General Dr. Majid Al-Jawhari, met with trade officials from Guangzhou, China, to explore opportunities for enhancing trade and investment cooperation between the two regions.
During the meeting, both sides discussed potential investments in key sectors such as infrastructure, renewable energy, water desalination, artificial intelligence, logistics, information technology, communications, medical industries, and the automotive sector, among other emerging fields.

Dr. Al-Jawhari emphasized that the meeting represents a sustainable platform for long-term collaboration, including the establishment of a joint digital platform to facilitate communication between businesses in Jazan and Guangzhou.
He also noted that the discussions would pave the way for organizing annual reciprocal visits by trade delegations, focusing on sectors of mutual interest, and for exchanging economic studies and expertise to serve both markets.
