Iranian Zone Amazes Audience at Riyadh Season 2024

Riyadh Season, the world’s largest winter entertainment, has unveiled a stunning Iranian area to immerse visitors in Iran’s rich heritage.

As part of the Boulevard World Zone, the area showcased several glimpses of Iran’s cuisine, traditional crafts, and cultural performances.

Therefore, the space became one of the most interesting and magnificent destinations in 2024 season, according to Arab News.

To this end, the stage is set for unforgettable experience with floating Iranian rugs and fountain adorned with a renowned Iranian statue.

Moreover, the area has amazed the audience with stunning dance shows and music to crystalize the majesty of the Iranian history.

Interestingly, they enjoyed numerous culinary delights such as lavashak, an Iranian sweet generally known for its flavor and texture.

Crucially, the space boasted a vast array of Iranian rugs with their captivating appearance and valuable crafting.

“Iranian carpets come from various regions of the country, including Tabriz, Isfahan, and Shiraz. Each area has its unique designs and patterns. We also offer framed artworks created by skilled artisans,” Fattah Ali, the owner of an Iranian rug business in the area, said.

Fattah Ali, a passionate owner of an Iranian rug business featured in the area, expressed his excitement about returning for a second year at Riyadh Season.?

As for the cultural significance of the rugs, Ali indicated that they represent valuable investments and that is why they are passing down such an industry through generations.

“Many Saudi customers appreciate the craftsmanship, and while the younger generation may need time to understand their value, I frequently hear from patrons whose families have cherished carpets for decades,” he added.

Boulevard World

It is worth mentioning that Boulevard World has witnessed a 30% expansion to accommodate more visitors and offer amazing experiences and attractions.

Currently, the area includes five new sections representing Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Iran, Africa, and Courchevel.

Thus, the total number of sections has surged to 22, along with 300 restaurants and cafés and more than 890 shops.
