Riyadh is witnessing the launch of the Saudi Arabian Horse Festival in its second edition, under the patronage of Governor of Riyadh Prince Faisal Bin Bandar Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
It is being held at the International Equestrian Resort under the slogan “Obaya in Diriyah,” in collaboration with the Diriyah Gate Development Authority and under the supervision of the King Abdulaziz Center for Purebred Arabian Horses in Dirab, which will last for 8 consecutive days from the date of its launch on January 10, 2022 AD.
Governor of Riyadh indicated that festival includes a wide range of activities, including the Diriyah Pride Auction for elite horses, the proceeds of which will be donated to charitable organizations.
It also an international championship for purebred Arabian horses categorized (B), a living museum for purebred Arabian horses whose breed roots date back to the era of the imams, and a riding center with training sessions for all family members under the supervision of professional trainers.
