flynas, Saudi Arabia’s first budget airline, has announced the launch of a new route, connecting Jeddah and Moscow through direct flights, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The new direct route comes in collaboration with the Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) and the Air Connectivity Program (ACP), under the low-cost airline’s growth plan and in line with the national objectives of the Kingdom’s tourism and aviation sectors.
Starting on December 23, 2025, flynas will operate three flights a week between Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow and King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.
The new route expands on flynas’ move in August to launch scheduled flights connecting Moscow and Riyadh – the first by a Saudi airline.
It also aligns with flynas‘ commitment to expanding destinations and routes to provide more reliable and convenient travel options for passengers.

Moreover, the announcement comes in line with the ongoing cooperation between flynas, the STA, and the ACP to implement marketing campaigns designed to promote travel to Saudi Arabia.
flynas’ expansion in the Russian market is part of its strategic growth and expansion plan, under the theme “We Connect the World to the Kingdom,” in parallel with the objectives of the National Civil Aviation Strategy.
This strategy aims to enable national air carriers to connect Saudi Arabia with 250 international destinations, accommodate 330 million passengers, and host 150 million tourists annually by 2030.
Additionally, it aligns with the objectives of the Pilgrims Experience Program (PEP) to facilitate access to the Two Holy Mosques.
Currently, flynas connects more than 70 domestic and international destinations in 30 countries. The airline runs more than 2,000 flights every week through 139 routes.
Moreover, flynas has flown over 80 million passengers since its launch in 2007, with the ambitious goal of reaching 165 domestic and international destinations by 2030.
