F1H2O Powerboat World Championship Concludes in Jeddah

Deputy Governor of the Makkah Region, Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, awarded the trophy and gold medal to Shaun Torrente of the UAE’s Victory Team following the fourth round of the F1H2O UIM World Championship, the 2025 Jeddah Grand Prix.

Twenty powerboats representing 10 of the world’s leading teams took part in the competition. Sweden’s Jonas Andersson secured second place and the silver medal, while Bartek Marszalek of Stromoy Racing claimed the bronze with a third-place finish.

As the first championship of its kind to take place on the Red Sea, the event marks a major milestone in Jeddah’s growing portfolio of international sporting events, strengthening the city’s position as a premier global destination for sports and tourism.
