Egypt Energy 2025 Kicks Off in Cairo with Focus on Sustainability and Safety
Cairo will host the Egypt Energy 2025 exhibition from 14 to 16 October, at the Egypt International Exhibition Center, with participation from leading local and international companies in the energy and industrial technology sectors.
The event forms part of Egypt’s National Energy Strategy and Vision 2030, aiming to accelerate the transition to sustainable energy and promote the exchange of expertise in electricity, renewable energy, and industrial safety across North Africa and the Middle East.
Among the exhibitors is Furse Trading & Contracting, a company specialising in earthing and lightning protection systems, which will showcase its latest engineering solutions and technologies designed to enhance safety in critical infrastructure.
Furse Chairman Mohamed Ramadan said the company’s participation aligns with its strategy to raise awareness of the importance of Earthing and Lightning Protection in safeguarding lives and facilities, including factories, hospitals, residential towers, and utility stations.
“Electrical safety is a cornerstone of sustainable development,” Ramadan said.
Furse offers integrated services covering design, supply, installation, maintenance, testing, and certification, in line with international standards and both Egyptian and British codes, he added.
The company collaborates with engineering consultancies such as Moharram Bakhoum, Shaker, EHAF, ECG, Dar Al-Handasah, and Sabour, and contractors including Modern Engineering Group, Dorra, Hassan Allam, Amer Group, Arab Contractors, and China’s Sinoma.
Furse has worked on several large-scale projects in Egypt, including the Minya Sugar Factory, Beni Suef Cement Plant, Zafarana Wind Farm, Benban Solar Park in Aswan, Alamein Towers, and the Alamein Entertainment City.
It has also delivered work for the British Embassy in Cairo, the Egyptian Air Force, and projects in Saudi Arabia’s NEOM development.
Ramadan said the company’s reputation is built on balancing technical quality and competitive pricing while complying with international standards.
