Covid-19 daily infections go below 500

For the fourth consecutive day, daily infections with the Coronavirus in Saudi Arabia recorded numbers less than the 500-infection barrier.

Saudi Ministry of Health announced the registration of 385 new cases of coronavirus, today.

 The data of the Ministry of Health has shown that total doses of the Corona vaccine given, approached the barrier of 34 million doses.

More than 21.3 million people have received at least one dose, comprising 61% of the population.

Moreover, 12.4 million people received the two doses, accounting for almost 36% of the population.

 Saudi Food and Drug Authority announced its approval to use the “Moderna” vaccine against the Coronavirus for the age group from 12 to 17 years.

This comes after the authority clarified that the manufacturer fulfilled the regulatory requirements for the safety of the vaccine for that age group.
