Civil Aviation Authority reveals Category A airports in Kingdom
In compliance with the findings of the systematic program evaluating the quality of airport service, the Civil Aviation Authority disclosed class A airports located in the Kingdom.
The Civil Aviation explained, during a video on its official account on “Twitter,” the arrangement of class “A” airports.
The results announced by the Civil Aviation Authority were as follows:
King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah got 75%, on average, as a result of evaluating the quality of the airports.
Whereas, King Abdulaziz Airport reached an average of 31 minutes’ waiting times for arrival and 15 minutes for departure, as well as 26 number of complaints per million passengers, incoming passengers 18 million, and departures 19 million.
– King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh scored 84% in the result of evaluating the quality of airports, and the average waiting times for the arrival phase is 36 minutes and the departure time is 8 minutes.
As for the number of complaints per million passengers, it reached 15, the incoming passengers were 14.6 million, and the departures 14 million.
– King Fahd International Airport in Dammam scored 83% on the average as a result of evaluating the quality of the airports, while the average waiting times for the arrival phase was 33 minutes, and the departure 9 minutes.
The number of complaints per million passengers reached 13, incoming passengers were 5.6 million, and those who departed were 5.5 million.
And for Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport in the city, the average result of the airport quality assessment reached 81%.
The average waiting times for the arrival phase was 42 minutes and departure 8 minutes, in addition to the number of complaints per million passengers, 5.7 million, inbound passengers 3.8 million, and 4.5 million departures.
