AROYA Cruises Embarks on Mediterranean Voyages

AROYA Cruises – the first Arabian cruise line – has announced the beginning of its journey through the Mediterranean, ahead of the official launch of its inaugural season in the region on June 28, 2025.

According to AROYA’s schedule, it will arrive in Galataport Istanbul, the ship’s Mediterranean homeport, on June 20, following stops at the Turkish cities of Kaş and Bodrum. After that, it will undergo routine maintenance before the first commercial sailing a week later.

From June 28 until mid-September, AROYA will discover the gems of the Eastern Mediterranean with six and seven-night voyages to ports in Türkiye, Greece and Egypt. AROYA’s destinations include Istanbul, Kusadasi, Marmaris, and Izmir in Türkiye.

Moreover, they include stops at Athens, Mykonos, Souda Bay, and Rhodes in Greece, in addition to Alexandria in northern Egypt, AROYA said in a press release.

With these diverse destinations, AROYA’s journey will immerse passengers in an exciting adventure that combines exploring unique attractions with Arabian-inspired experiences.

The Mediterranean voyage builds on the success of AROYA Cruises in its inaugural season in the Red Sea, launched in December 2024. The ship has attracted over 70,000 passengers in voyages that visited Egypt, Jordan and the Saudi Red Sea private island of Jabal AlSabaya for Saba Beach.

On this occasion, President of AROYA Cruises, Joerg Rudolph, said: “We’re excited to be bringing AROYA to some of the Mediterranean’s most popular cruise destinations this summer. AROYA Cruises first set sail just six months ago and we’re incredibly proud of all we’ve achieved so far, with passenger numbers in the Red Sea exceeding expectations. We look forward to welcoming our valued guests aboard this season.”
