
The AgentX Artificial Intelligence Hackathon has officially kicked off as part of a broader initiative aiming at supporting national talents, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
Through a strategic partnership with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the hackathon seeks to empower participants to innovate practical AI-driven solutions that address real-world challenges across vital public and private sectors.
The AgentX serves as a dynamic extension of the Kingdom’s digital transformation drive, aimed at elevating technical talent and strengthening collaboration between national innovators and the business community.
It offers recent graduates and job seekers a unique platform to design and prototype groundbreaking solutions across pivotal sectors, including health, quality of life, education, gaming, entertainment, and customer experience.
The ten-day hackathon features seven days of virtual engagement offering intensive workshops, personalized mentorship, and early-stage solution development, followed by three in-person days at The Garage in Riyadh.
There, participants will introduce their innovative solutions before expert judges, with the hackathon concluding with a competitive showcase and the awarding of top prizes.
Then, the top three winning teams will be recognized with cash prizes.
Overall, the hackathon is anticipated to create new job opportunities and attract investment into the Kingdom’s evolving tech startup ecosystem.
