AdopTech Initiative: Saudi Arabia Launches 3rd Phase to Advance AI Adoption

The Saudi Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has launched the third phase of the AdopTech initiative, designed to increase the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The innovative initiative aims to support the implementation of 15 projects that utilize AI and emerging technologies within key industrial and logistics facilities. It also aims to boost an innovation-conducive operational environment that contributes to accelerating the adoption of the Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies.

In its third phase, the AdopTech initiative focuses on enabling tech firms and entrepreneurs to provide innovative solutions to address real-world operational challenges in the targeted sectors. This includes implementing proof-of-concept projects in collaboration with selected industrial and logistics facilities, to promote the role of technology in raising the efficiency of businesses and strengthening the competitiveness of vital sectors.

Moreover, the initiative aims to foster partnership between the public and private sectors in the development and adoption of digital solutions through creating a conducive environment that allows participants to test and develop their solutions in real-world settings. Hence, it improves their readiness for broader expansion and growth.

Interested tech companies and entrepreneurs who have innovative solutions in the industrial and logistical sectors are invited to register through the Ministry of Communications portal.
