

The Saudi writer Abdullah bin Idris died on Wednesday, in Riyadh, at the age of 92.
Writers, intellectuals, and pioneers of social networking sites in Saudi Arabia mourned him, recalling his literary and poetic works.
Who is Abdullah bin Idris?
Bin Idris, a writer who worked for the Saudi government and contributed to the development of the literary and cultural movement in Saudi Arabia, was one of the writers who held many positions in the government.
He joined the Scientific Institute in Riyadh, obtained his degree, then joined the College of Sharia in Riyadh, and graduated in its first class in 1956.
He was also President of the Riyadh Literary Club, Secretary-General of Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University, and Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Protection of Science, Arts, and Letters.
