A car crashed into large crowds of Liverpool fans on Monday while they were celebrating the city’s Premier League championship and injured more than 45 people, according to France 24.
A video on social media shows a gray minivan ploughed into at least one pedestrian and then veer into a larger crowd, creating a route through the group and throwing bodies along the street.

The police have arrested the 53-year-old man who was driving the vehicle.
Consequently, the police announced that they will not investigate the incident as an act of terrorism.
The white British man was thought to be the only one involved in the incident, the police said.

As for the injured, 27 people were taken to the hospital, with two suffering serious injuries, according to Dave Kitchin of North West Air Ambulance.
Furthermore, another 20 people were treated at the scene for minor injuries. At least four children were injured.
Around four victims were trapped beneath the vehicle and firefighters had to lift it to free them. One of those injured was a medic who had been on duty on a bicycle.
