
Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development officially announced the Eid Al Fitr 2026 holiday schedule for the Kingdom’s private and non-profit sectors on Tuesday.
According to the official statement, the holiday period commences at the conclusion of business on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 (Ramadan 29, 1447 AH). Employees will enjoy a four-day break to celebrate the festivities.

Employer Compliance Required
Furthermore, the Ministry emphasized that all business owners must strictly adhere to the regulatory frameworks. Specifically, employers should follow the provisions outlined in Article 24 of the Labor Law’s executive regulations.
Consequently, this directive aims to ensure a standardized holiday period across the Kingdom’s diverse economic sectors. The Ministry continues to monitor compliance to safeguard the rights and well-being of the national workforce during the blessed Eid season.
