SAUDIA allocates 780 flights between the Kingdom and Doha at World Cup matches in 2022

Saudi Airlines (SAUDIA) has allocated more than 780 additional flights to transport sports fans between the Kingdom and Doha to attend the World Cup matches.

The flights will start from Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam airports to Hamad and Doha international airports, with a seating capacity of more than 254,000 seats.

As part of their support of the Saudi national team and football fans, Saudi Arabia provides daily flights to the tournament.

Such flights help fans to reach Doha Airport and return on the same day without the need to stay in hotels. They also enable them to bring only personal belongings inside the plane, which speeds up travel procedures.

Saudi Airlines has identified lounges for departing passengers on frequent flights. These include Terminal 3 at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and the pilgrims’ lounge at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.

Passengers on frequent flights can print two boarding passes for their return flights, regardless of the distance between the flights. This is to facilitate travel procedures and shorten time and effort.

All travelers must issue a “Haya” card, which is considered a permit to enter Qatar and sports stadiums.

The Saudi Tourism Authority launched the “Hasten” platform (www.HereForYou-sa.com), to provide logistics services to citizens, residents, and tourists inside the Kingdom wishing to attend the World Cup matches.

The platform will enable users to quickly identify the most prominent national tourist destinations and their events.
