Saudi non-oil exports increase during May 2022 by 26.7%
The value of the Saudi Kingdom’s merchandise exports in May 2022 was (144 billion riyals), up from (79 billion riyals) in May 2021, representing an increase of (65 billion riyals) (83.4 percent).
According to the Kingdom’s International Trade Bulletin published by the General Authority for Statistics, the value of petroleum exports in May 2022 was (116 billion riyals), up from (57 billion riyals) in May 2021.
The Bulletin also revealed that the value of non-oil exports (including re-exports) in May 2022 was (28 billion riyals), up from (22 billion riyals) in May 2021, representing a growth of (6 billion riyals) at a rate of (26.7 percent).
According to the bulletin, the value of the Kingdom’s merchandise imports in May 2022 was (54 billion riyals), up from (44 billion riyals) in May 2021, representing a (21.8 percent) rise.
It is worth noting that the General Authority for Statistics is the Kingdom’s official and exclusive statistical reference for statistical data and information.
