Saudi Deputy Defense Minister meets Minister of Defense of China
Saudi Deputy Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz met last week, via video conference, with State Counselor and Minister of Defense of the People’s Republic of China, Lieutenant-General Wei Fung Kha.
During the meeting, they reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries, especially in the defense and military field, and ways to develop them, in addition to discussing issues of common interest.
The meeting was attended by Chief of the General Staff Lieutenant-General Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs Dr. Khaled bin Hussein Al-Bayari, Head of the Armed Forces Operations Authority Major General Misfer bin Suwailam Al Ghanem, and Director-General of the Office of the Deputy Minister of Defense Hisham bin Abdulaziz bin Saif and Director of the International Cooperation Department in charge, Rear Admiral Saad bin Mohammed Al-Shehri.
From the Chinese side, the meeting was also attended by the head of the International Cooperation Office of the Ministry of National Defense, Major General Jin Si Jiuyi, and the deputy head of the International Cooperation Office of the Ministry of National Defense, Major General Jin Song Yanchao.
