Sharif’s visit to the Kingdom comes two days after his meeting with the Saudi Crown Prince in Doha, on the sidelines of the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit, during which they reviewed bilateral relations and discussed the latest developments in the region.
According to the Pakistani Foreign Ministry, the meeting in Riyadh aims to explore “all aspects of Saudi Arabia-Pakistan relations,” with an expected “formalization of cooperation in diverse fields, reflecting the shared commitment of both sides to further enhance and deepen their longstanding fraternal ties.”
The statement added that the two leaders will also “exchange views on regional and global developments of mutual interest.”
