Saudi Crown Prince inaugurates housing and medical projects for Ministry of Defense employees
Prince Muhammad bin Salman, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, inaugurated eight housing and medical projects for the Ministry of Defense employees.
The news comes within the development projects implemented and completed by the ministry recently at the cost of more than SR$4bn.
It included six housing projects that provide 3797 housing units, including those for the King Saud base in Hafr Al-Batin, the armed forces in the north-west, the families of the King Salman bin Abdulaziz Center for the mountain war in Taif, and the Armed Forces in Sharurah.
The Crown Prince also inaugurated many medical development projects, including a heart centre in the Armed Forces Hospital in the North West, which will have 130 beds, and the extension of the Prince Sultan Armed Forces Hospital in Madinah, which will have a total of 100 beds.
The expansion will add ten intensive care units, operating rooms equipped with the latest medical equipment, emergency departments, radiology, laboratory, pharmacy, and blood bank.
