Bilateral trade and tourism thrive, with 100,000 Saudi tourists visiting Azerbaijan in 2022. Direct flights now exceed 55 per week, boosting cultural exchanges. A new Saudi Cultural Center in Baku will deepen ties through language programs and joint initiatives. In January 2025, both nations signed an Islamic affairs agreement to promote tolerance and combat extremism. This aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 and Azerbaijan’s interfaith harmony goals.
