Saudi Arabia Suspends Three Umrah Firms Over Pilgrim Housing Violations

Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah suspended three Umrah companies recently because they failed to provide housing services to pilgrims. Local media reported this decisive action after authorities detected violations regarding approved contractual programs for visitors. Consequently, the ministry pursued legal action against external agents working with the implicated companies in coordination with relevant local authorities.

Immediate Corrective Measures Enforced

The violating companies immediately secured accommodation for all affected pilgrims fully under the approved regulatory framework to protect pilgrim rights. Furthermore, officials took corrective measures to prevent a recurrence of future such issues regarding services for Umrah pilgrims and visitors. The ministry warned it would not tolerate negligence or breaches of contractual obligations regarding the welfare of Umrah pilgrims ever.
