A fresh convoy of Saudi humanitarian aid crossed the Rafah Border Crossing today to provide essential relief to Palestinian families. The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) organized this massive delivery of food baskets to support civilians. These trucks are currently traveling toward the southeast of the Gaza Strip as teams prepare for the final entry into the enclave.
KSrelief officials are working closely with the Egyptian Red Crescent to ensure that every food basket reaches those in need. This collaborative effort forms a vital part of the Saudi popular campaign to support our brotherly Palestinian people during crisis.
Furthermore, the kingdom has established specialized camps in the Al-Qarara and Al-Mawasi areas to house thousands of displaced Palestinian families.
Sheltering Families from the Harsh Winter
The Saudi teams designed these camps specifically to provide safe shelter and immediate assistance as the freezing winter season begins. Consequently, the kingdom continues to lead humanitarian efforts to alleviate the severe suffering of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. The current humanitarian conditions pose a significant threat to children and women who lack adequate protection from the cold weather.
This latest aid shipment represents a natural extension of the ongoing humanitarian mission that Saudi Arabia carries out through KSrelief. The kingdom remains dedicated to providing life-saving resources to our brothers who face extremely difficult living circumstances in the region.
Therefore, Saudi Arabia will continue to prioritize the health and safety of the Palestinian people through consistent and generous relief operations.
