Saudi Arabia requires receiving a booster dose to enter the Two Holy Mosques

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah emphasized the need for visitors to the Prophet’s Mosque and Holy Raudah in Madinah to receive a “revitalizing dose” before entering the Two Holy Mosques.

The Ministry claimed today on Twitter that the health status in “Tawakulna” has improved, and that reservations through the “Umrahna” app are required to gain access to the Two Holy Mosques.

Receiving the booster dose will be regarded as a criterion for the continuous presence of the “immune” status in the “Tawakulna” application beginning February 1st, according to a Ministry of Interior official.

For age groups 18 and up, it stated that everyone who spent eight months or more must receive the second dose.
