Saudi Arabia on Sunday joined 206 Olympic Committees worldwide to celebrate the International Olympic Day 2024, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
On this occasion, the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee (SOPC) launched the “Let’s Move” virtual campaign, in cooperation with the Saudi Olympic Academy.
This campaign aims to promote sports activities in the society. It also aims to enhance the Olympic principles and values of respect, friendship and excellence.

Moreover, the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee and the Saudi Olympic Academy will hold a variety of sporting events next Sunday for male and female employees of the Kingdom’s sports sector at the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Olympic Complex in Riyadh.
These events take place one month before the 33rd Summer Olympic Games, Paris 2024.
The world celebrates the International Olympic Day every year on June 23rd to commemorate the foundation of the International Olympic Committee. The Olympic Day Run is the core activity of the event, where National Olympic Committees celebrate Olympic Day and promote the practice of mass sport.
