Saudi Arabia calls for strengthening multilateral to end cross-national concerns

According to a press release from the Saudi embassy, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, led the Kingdom’s delegation to the fourth Paris Peace Forum, which was themed “Redefining the Main Principles of International Cooperation after the COVID-19 Pandemic.”

He took part in a discussion on the “Alliance for Multilateralism,” during which the Minister of Foreign Affairs addressed some of the world’s threats to food security (such as the Corona pandemic, climate change, conflicts, and instability), emphasizing that these issues require a collective approach with the help of worldwide partners and collaborators.

He emphasized the need of enhancing multilateral action
in order to provide effective and long-term answers to shared concerns among nations, stressing the Kingdom’s efforts to address these issues in a comprehensive and ongoing way.
