The head of the Saudi energy company, Aramco, Amin Nasser, ruled out that the redistribution of Russian oil supplies in Asia, including India, would affect Aramco’s position in the Asian market.
The statement came in a conference call with investors, where Nasser commented on the impact of the redistribution of Russian oil supplies from Europe to Asia and India on Aramco’s position in these markets.
“Concerning the Indian market and Russian oil imports, we have a good relationship (with importers in India), and we are the main supplier because of our reliability to buyers both in Asia and around the world,” the head of Saudi Aramco said.
Earlier, Aramco announced that it achieved profits of $ 48.4 billion in the second quarter of 2022, an increase of 90.2% compared to the same period last year thanks to high oil prices.
