During the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York City, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) signed a joint executive program with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) to strengthen educational services in Yemen.
The agreement was signed by KSrelief Supervisor-General Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah and IOM Director-General Amy Pope.
Under the program, 12 schools across the governorates of Aden, Lahj, and Taiz will be rehabilitated and expanded. The initiative aims to support the recovery of Yemen’s education sector from the effects of crisis and displacement, creating a safe and conducive learning environment for students and helping ensure uninterrupted education despite ongoing challenges.
