Jeddah hosts the 2nd Global Conference on Giftedness and Creativity
Under the auspices of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and on his behalf, His Royal Highness Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, is attending the Second Global Conference for Giftedness and Creativity, organized by the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Innovation (Mawhiba).
The conference will be held from December 10 to 14, 2022, in Jeddah, under the title “Journey Towards the New Future”
The Secretary-General of King Abdul Aziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity “Mawhiba”, Dr. Amal Al-Hazaa, explained that the conference, in its second edition, enhances the Kingdom’s global leadership in developing talented and creative young capabilities, to form new future horizons.
She stressed that this year’s conference would be an implementation of the recommendations of the first session. The recommendations focused on building a global platform for talented and creative people worldwide.
She indicated that the conference included an Ideathon, in which more than 100 talented men and women from 30 countries around the world participated. These men and women were chosen based on their scientific and technical achievements.
During the Ideathon, the talented will apply the principles of collective thinking to build a global platform. This will enable talented people from all over the world to use collective intelligence and to provide innovative solutions to the challenges of the world.
“Mawhiba will continue to support everything that can improve the future of human life and sustainable development. The conference will witness the participation of many world experts in the field of talent accelerators and collective intelligence. In addition, experts and leaders of leading institutions, companies, and universities, such as SABIC, Aramco, NEOM, King Abdullah University, King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, and others”, Al-Hazaa added.
The conference addresses several pillars, the most prominent of which is providing a global platform for the talented. This is done by supporting the search for them and enhancing opportunities for their contribution to human prosperity and sustainable development. Moreover, collective intelligence and its role in the future, as well as everything that will leverage talents.
