IsDB Participates in Roundtable on Partnerships for Impact in Washington

Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) has taken part in roundtable discussion on partnerships for impact in Washington, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

Themed “Accelerating Progress through Working Together,” the meeting was part of the 2024 Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group.

IsDB President Dr. Mohammad Al-Jasser underscored the significance of data and knowledge partnerships in driving regional and global development.

Moreover, Al-Jasser explained that data-based knowledge is increasingly becoming a key asset in creating positive impacts, notably for resource-constrained developing economies.

The president also set various examples for collaborative knowledge initiatives.

They include the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative, the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data, and the Asian Development Bank.

Such initiatives basically aim to achieve better data-driven development outcomes in member countries.

In the same context, Al-Jasser highlighted that effective development particularly depends on cooperation in knowledge and data exchange.

Similarly, he stressed the pivotal role of collaborative platforms in facilitating the sharing of research findings and best practices.
