The South Korean Gen.G Esports secured their second international title in just over a week, snatching the League of Legends (LoL) title after defeating AG.AL 3-2 in a thrilling grand finale. With a winning streak of 26 matches, Gen.G becomes the fastest team ever to secure back-to-back international LoL titles.

Meanwhile, Team Spirit clinched the Dota 2 tournament title, dropping just one game across the entire event. In the grand finale, they triumphed over Team Falcons 3-0. MLBB Women’s Invitational

Team Vitality secured a 4-0 victory over Gaimin Gladiators in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women’s Invitational (MWI), regaining their crown after falling short last year. They also broke the MWI fastest match record twice, reclaiming it with a 9:36-minute victory in the grand finale.

The Free Fire tournament was dominated by Indonesia’s EVOS Esports, who won the championship after a dramatic final battle against Team Vitality. The 15-year-old phenom Rasyah “Rasyah” Rasyid, showed brilliant performance, becoming the youngest MVP in EWC history by earning the SONY MVP Award and $10,000 in prize money.

Moreover, the Honor of Kings tournament had its top 8 playoff teams set, with Paws Gaming, Nova Esports, and AG.AL taking the lead. Playoffs will start next week.

Team Falcons won the Overwatch Champions Series (OWCS) Midseason Last Chance Qualifier, beating ZETA DIVISION with ease and securing their spot in the OWCS Midseason Championship set for July 31.

Club Championship Race

The EWC 2025 Week 2 saw Team Vitality leading the Club Championship standings, with Gen.G Esports trying to catch up. Meanwhile, Team Falcons and AG.AL are close behind.

The “Stranger Things” and “Gran Turismo” star, David Harbour, made an appearance at EWC Spotlight, where he got a Team Vitality jersey from their MLBB roster. He also joined them for a backstage game, and received an informal offer to join them, but his acting commitment prevents him from going pro.

Furthermore, Week 2 marked the second time this year that siblings won EWC trophies. In addition to the Siswanto sisters’ MLBB win, brothers Ričardas “Boo” and Dominykas “MiniBoo” Lukaševičius of Team Heretics secured the VALORANT title during Championship Weekend 1.
