The Saudi Ministry of Health revealed a decrease in Covid-19death rates after receiving the first dose of the vaccine against the virus.
Dr Abdullah Asiri, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, said that the death rates of corona are declining after giving the first dose of the anti-virus vaccine:
“The Kingdom witnessed between 2020 and 2021 a marked decrease in direct the virus deaths; where the average recorded 74%, in the age groups from 20 to 90 years.”
He explained that the total injuries between the two periods refer to the significant decrease in deaths provided by the first dose of the anti-Corona vaccine.
Moreover, the Ministry of Health announced yesterday that the National Committee for Infectious Diseases approved taking two different corona vaccines for the first and second doses.
The immunization programs have covered 70% of adults in the Kingdom after the number of doses given exceeded 16.8 million.
