The draw placed Al Hilal in Group H alongside Spanish giants Real Madrid, Austria’s Red Bull Salzburg, and Pachuca of Mexico. This challenging group will test the Saudi side’s mettle on the global stage.

As the 2021 AFC Champions League winners, Al Hilal earned their spot in the expanded 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. This will be their fourth appearance in the tournament, having previously participated in the 2019, 2021 and 2022 editions.
The Riyadh-based side lost to European champions Real Madrid in the final of the 2022 edition, beaten 5-3 in Rabat, Morocco.
The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup will feature a new format: eight groups of four teams. The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage, which will lead to a thrilling final on July 13, 2025.
A Global Showcase
The tournament will commence on June 15 2025, across various U.S. venues. Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami will play the opening match at Hard Rock Stadium. MetLife Stadium in New Jersey will host the final on July 13.
