The Accounting Excellence Forum 2026 began yesterday in Riyadh under the patronage of Minister of Commerce and Chairman of the Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA), Majid Al-Kassabi.
Taking place from May 12 to 14, the forum is organized by SOCPA in strategic partnership with Saudi Aramco, bringing together a diverse group of local and international experts and professionals.
On its opening day, a cooperation agreement was signed between SOCPA and the General Authority for Awqaf to enhance accounting and financial practices within the endowment sector. The day also included the announcement of the winners of the 2026 A4S International Case Competition, conducted in collaboration with the Institute of Management Accountants.
The forum will continue over the coming days with a series of panel discussions and specialized workshops focused on the future of the accounting profession and the development of its practices.
