The Saudi Ministry of Interior’s electronic platform, Absher, announced a scheduled maintenance for its systems on Friday, May 10, 2024.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the maintenance will take place from 12:00 am to 12:00 pm.
The platform urged its users to complete all their important services well before the scheduled time, as some services may be unavailable during the maintenance period.
These updates are part of Absher’s efforts to provide an excellent user experience that enables smooth and efficient delivery of services with high quality, the platform said.
Absher aims to provide the Saudi Ministry of Interior’s services digitally to citizens, residents and visitors, by utilizing technical capabilities and modern technologies.
Since its inception in 2010, Absher has made significant progress as a service provider. It has become a competitor to other digital government platforms across the world, and one of the first platforms in the Middle East.
The platform provides services to Ministry of Interior’s sectors, such as Passports, Traffic, and Civil Affairs. It has expanded to deliver services to several government agencies as well as the private sector.
