In a remarkable milestone, the Al Madinah Region Development Authority (MDA) has secured the Best Booth Presentation Award from the Saudi Tourism Authority, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The award is part of the Saudi destination management organization’s travel sector excellence program that seeks to advance Saudi tourism sector and solidify the Kingdom’s position as an exceptional destination for tourists worldwide.
The MDA has received this prestigious recognition during its participation in the World Travel Market (WTM) held in London.
The recognition spotlights the pavilion’s excellence in promoting the destination, providing an innovative visitor experience that effectively showcased Madinah’s historical, cultural, as well as tourist attractions.
It also stands as a testament to the authority’s dedication to strengthening the Madinah’s status as a global destination that blends tradition and modernity.
Madinah has recently joined the UNESCO Creative Cities Network for culinary arts, marking a turning point for its cultural and economic future and securing a seat on the global map of culinary excellence.
Currently, the Culinary Arts Commission, in collaboration with the Madinah Development Authority, seeks to integrate Madinah’s rich heritage and traditional flavors into the contemporary dining scene.
