Tunisian President Kais Saied said that his leadership is moving forward in enabling the people to express their will.
In statements published by the Tunisian presidency on Monday, he stressed that “Tunisia is not for sale”
“The sovereignty of the state will never be a commodity for bargaining,” Kais added.
In a speech he delivered on the occasion of the celebration of the sixty-sixth anniversary of the Internal Security Forces Day, Kais asserted that Tunisia is based on the law that guarantees peaceful coexistence between power and freedom.
Kais condemns attempts to establish Parliament of Diaspora
He had expressed his condemnation and denunciation of the dissolved parliament to establish the “Parliament of the Diaspora” in France and demanded that the Public Prosecution take action against them.
During his meeting with the Minister of Justice, Leila Jaffal, at the Carthage Palace, he stressed the need to put an end to what he described as the manipulation of rights, saying that “the state is not a game.”
It is noteworthy that the security authorities specialized in combating terrorism in Tunisia, recently started an investigation with deputies in the dissolved Tunisian Parliament about their participation in the last virtual session.
