Description: فيروس كورونا: وزير الصحة السعودي يحذر: هذه الفترة صعبة جداً

The Saudi Minister of Health Tawfiq Al-Rabiah confirmed that many countries of the world are experiencing a second wave of the Corona pandemic, stressing that “the second wave of the pandemic is greater than the first, and we are not immune to it.”

The Minister of Health added, “We have observed in the past days a noticeable increase and a continuous increase in the number of infections with the Coronavirus, and among the most important causes of it were social gatherings of all kinds, and if the complacency continues in gatherings and the failure to implement preventive measures, we will enter the danger of the second wave.”

Furthermore, Al-Rabiah said that the Coronavirus must be dealt with the utmost seriousness, pointing out that a noticeable increase in the number of Corona infections has been observed in Saudi Arabia.

He also added in a speech: “You notice that many countries of the world are living in the second wave of the pandemic, more than the first, and we are not immune from that. Therefore, we must deal with this virus with all seriousness and not be complacent in taking all precautions in confronting and addressing it.”

To that, he attributed the increase in the number of infections to gatherings and the lax measures, warning that failure to comply “will force us to take precautionary measures to protect society.”

He also warned about the difficulty of this period, saying, “It is imperative that we deal seriously with the pandemic,” stressing the importance of adhering to preventive measures to limit the spread of Corona.

The Saudi Minister of Health had previously issued an appeal to all citizens and residents, after it was recently noticed that there has been an increase in confirmed cases of the emerging virus.
