The Saudi Water Partnership Company achieved a global achievement after obtaining the award for the best public water agency for the year 2024 during its participation in the “World Water Summit” conference. It is being held in the British capital, London, from April 15-17, 2024.
The company received the award for its efforts in privatizing water projects, effectively progressing in projects, speeding completion, applying the highest quality standards, and striving for water sustainability and security. The award was received by the company’s CEO, Engineer Khalid bin Zuwaid Al-Quraishi, and the company’s work team.
The company’s Jubail 3A project for independent water production also won an award, with the participation of the private sector and the alliance consisting of Aquapower, the Gulf Investment Corporation, and Al-Bawani Water and Power Company.
Global Water Intelligence hosts the annual World Water Awards at the World Water Summit Forum, a key event in the international water industry. These prestigious awards promote industry support and performance enhancement.
Engineer Al Quraishi confirmed that this award did not happen out of the blue; thanks to God, then with the unlimited support of the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and members of the Board of Directors. Credit also goes to the combined efforts between the company and partners from the public and private sectors to achieve water sustainability security.
