Saudi defense sends medical aid plane to Iraqi defense

On Sunday, Saudi Ministry of Defense sent a plane loaded with a shipment of medical aid to the Ministry of Defense in Iraq. That was to support the efforts of health care workers and enhance their capabilities in limiting the spread of the new Corona virus.
This aid comes within the framework of great and continuous support provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through this aid. Its to contribute in strengthening of medical staff capabilities and health care workers so it can confront the emerging corona virus.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, “SPA”, a plane C130 arrived on Sunday evening at the Martyr Muhammad Alaa Air Force Base at Baghdad International Airport, loaded with a shipment of medical aid to the Iraqi Ministry of Defense. This step is to confirm the bonds of joint cooperation between the Kingdom and the Republic of Iraq.
The plane was received by KSA ambassador to Iraq, Abdul Aziz Al-Shammari, and on the Iraqi side, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army, Commander of the Air Force, Director of the Medical Administration of the Iraqi Army, and a number of civilian and military officials.
