The Mohammed bin Salman Nonprofit City, “Misk City,” signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Samsung Electronics Saudi Arabia to explore collaboration in smart city technologies, sustainability, and youth empowerment. The agreement aims to foster cooperation, allowing both parties to share expertise, introduce advanced technologies, and develop local talent.
The MoU was signed by David Henry, CEO of Misk City, and Hendrick Lee, President of Samsung Electronics Saudi Arabia, on the sidelines of the Misk Global Forum.

Henry valued the city’s strategic partnership with “Samsung Saudi Arabia,” which represents an important step aligned with the strategic vision of Misk City. This vision aims to establish an integrated ecosystem that supports innovation and creativity among Saudi youth. He also emphasized the importance of working side by side with Samsung to create a vibrant and innovative environment, providing a unique model for smart cities.
On his part, Hendrick expressed his pride in this partnership, which constitutes a fundamental pillar of innovation and technology in the world, and said: “Our cooperation with Misk City represents our unified commitment to leading innovation and sustainability with the aim of developing transformative solutions that enhance urban life and empower future generations in the field of technology, which It benefits our communities.”
The areas covered by the agreement include exchanging expertise and providing sustainable solutions that positively impact the lives of smart cities, empowering local talent, innovators, and entrepreneurs. The collaborative efforts will also focus on developing training programs specifically designed to enhance the core skills of Saudi youth. These programs are planned to be hosted and delivered later in Misk City.

Samsung Electronics is also considering establishing a showroom and interactive experience center in Misk City to showcase its latest AI-powered smart technologies. Moreover, this would offer visitors a comprehensive experience of smart homes and offices.
The city of Misk, through its partnerships with local and international organizations, serves as an incubator and a hub for innovation and creativity. It seeks to support youth by providing them with various opportunities for innovation, learning, and creativity through its partnership with Samsung Saudi Arabia, a leading company in technology and innovation.
