For the first time, KSA appoints a woman as an assistant to Shura Council chairman

King Salman Abdulaziz issued a royal order appointing Dr. Hanan Al-Ahmadi as assistant to the speaker of the Shura Council, with the excellent rank.

Al-Ahmadi is the first Saudi woman to hold a leadership position in the Shura Council, a Saudi academic specializing in economics and health management.

 She considered one of the first women appointed to the Shura Council seven years ago.

Dr. Hanan attained many prestigious scientific and practical positions, and is a Associate Professor of Health Administration at the Institute of Public Administration,

also she is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Riyadh Economic Forum and the Editorial Board of the Journal of Public Administration and the Scientific Council of the Institute of Public Administration.

 She has participated in the membership of many The Council’s special and parliamentary committees in the Shura Council.

Al-Ahmadi has many professional and community contributions. She is a resident of the Sheikh Khalifa Award for Excellence in Governmental Performance.

 She is a part-time consultant in the medical services of the Armed Forces, the Health Studies Center at the Military Hospital in Riyadh 2007.

 Al-Ahmadi has many researches, scientific partnerships and research in the field of health services management and administrative leadership.
